Job summary

Truist Wealth is seeking a Regular teller for the New York area to deliver a distinctive client experience, processing complex and standard transactions with accuracy while guiding customers to digital self-service tools and Enhanced service options.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, adherence to policies, and collaboration with branch teams to meet client needs, including occasional travel and weekend hours as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and potential locale changes.
• Weekend and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and handle complex and standardized transactions with accuracy.
• Educate clients on digital/self-service banking options like ATMs, Online and Mobile Banking.
• Support team sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance personal and product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, and manage branch workload.
