Job summary

Truist is seeking a retail banking professional in the New York area to deliver exceptional client service both in person and on the phone. You will expand relationships, offer financial solutions, and refer opportunities to specialists while supporting teller duties as needed.

The role emphasizes meeting service and sales targets through consultative conversations and a strong focus on client needs. Weekend availability and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days and pass NMLS background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry-leading client service in person and by phone.
• Develop and expand client relationships to meet growth targets.
• Offer financial solutions and refer to specialists as needed.
• Cross-train to perform teller duties when required.
• Contribute to coaching and leadership routines.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Engage clients to identify needs during transactions.
