Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking a capable accountant to handle day-to-day accounting activities for multiple clients in a fast-paced environment. You will manage A/R, A/P, payroll, and GL processes while preparing concise monthly and quarterly statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and financial statements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience with accounting software and general ledger systems required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports for clients.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
• Communicate directly with clients' vendors regarding billing and payroll matters.
• Assist with special accounting projects and financial analysis.
