H&R Block in Texas is recruiting a Tax Associate for an apprenticeship-style program. You will build tax and client-service skills with structured training, guidance, and coaching while using advanced technology and working with a Client Care Specialist to review each client’s tax situation and provide clear advice.

This in-person role emphasizes accuracy, client trust, and ongoing learning as you collaborate with teammates to meet office goals and deliver outstanding service during tax season.

Formación

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems as well as AI-based tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Partner with a dedicated Client Care Specialist who gathers client information, allowing you to focus on reviewing each client's tax situation and delivering a great experience
• Leverage H&R Block's advanced technology to prepare returns while you focus on reviewing results, ensuring accuracy, and providing personalized advice
• Use open-ended questions and active listening to understand client needs and identify tax savings opportunities
• Recommend relevant products and services based on client needs, questions, and unique situations
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions with guidance and resources
• Continue building tax knowledge through ongoing training to grow your confidence and ability to serve clients effectively
• Build strong client relationships and support office goals through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
