Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent training
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Responsibilities

• Partner with a dedicated Client Care Specialist to gather client information and focus on reviewing each client's tax situation
• Leverage advanced technology to prepare returns while focusing on accuracy and personalized advice
• Use open-ended questions and active listening to understand client needs and identify tax savings opportunities
• Recommend relevant products and services based on client needs and unique situations
• Address client questions with guidance and resources through problem-solving
• Continue building tax knowledge through ongoing training to grow confidence and client service
• Build strong client relationships and support office goals through teamwork and a client-first approach
