Job summary

First Business Bank in Leawood, KS is seeking a Personal Banker focused on exceptional client service with no sales quotas. This onsite role supports clients and colleagues with accurate transactions and trusted guidance.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, processing deposits and withdrawals, opening and maintaining accounts, and performing notary and intrafin duties as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance in every interaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ year banking experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to engage clients to determine their banking needs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to clients’ questions by answering the telephone promptly, greeting clients upon their entering the bank, and promptly responding to emails.
• Receive, verify and post checks and cash for deposit to account
• Process withdrawals and cash checks for clients and non-clients.
• Issue Cashier’s Checks, foreign currency, and gift cards with available funds.
• Process and scan all teller transactions through branch capture
• Process wire transfer requests.
• Create documents and open deposit products on the bank system for clients with accuracy
• Accurately complete stop payment orders, address changes, account information updates, and general account maintenance as requested
• Upload debit card applications and perform debit card maintenance as needed.
• Process Credit Verifications
• Notary Public Services
• Review IntraFi reports, print and mail customer notices, and balance GL accounts daily. Open new IntraFi accounts and process corresponding deposit account and GL entries
