Job summary

Omnicom Media Group is seeking a Manager, Client Finance to partner with client account leadership and internal finance teams. You will manage financial operations for assigned client accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, project accounting, reporting, and profitability analysis.

The role requires GAAP knowledge, experience with SOWs and rate cards, and advanced Excel. You will communicate financial insights, maintain controls, and support month-end close, working

Qualifications

• 3+ years Client Finance experience at a media agency
• College Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Marketing
• Knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue-recognition principles
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements
• Experience reviewing statements of work, rate cards, and other commercial agreements
• Familiarity with finance reporting tools, such as MediaOcean, Microsoft D365, TM1
• Experience in a fast paced, client service environment; a high sense of urgency, and a positive attitude
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, formulas)

Responsibilities

• Client Financial Management: Manage day-to-day financial operations of assigned client accounts, budgets, forecasts and invoicing.
• Month-End Close and Financial Controls: Prepare accruals, deferrals, and journal-entry support; ensure revenue recognition.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and expense forecasts.
• Contract and Commercial Management: Review contracts, rate cards, discounts, and incentives for financial feasibility.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Consolidate financial information into clear reporting for leadership and ad hoc requests.
