Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients in Sonora, CA. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions with accuracy and confidentiality, while adhering to bank procedures.

Under guidance from branch leadership, you will deepen client relationships and identify opportunities to offer products and services. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and proactive service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 2 years of previous banking or customer service experience, preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with written numbers, words, and verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of building relationships with clients and other bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling functions for clients with accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
• Balance cash drawer and supporting operations such as ATM activities.
• Mitigate risk by safeguarding money and promptly accounting or transferring funds.
• Interact with clients, identify needs, and offer appropriate bank products and services.
• Maintain and enhance client relationships through meaningful conversations.
