Columbia Bank is hiring a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients at our Sonora branch. You will handle routine transactions, maintain cash drawer integrity, and proactively identify client needs to offer appropriate products and services.

The role emphasizes accurate, ethical work and relationship-building with clients and colleagues. The position is onsite at 13775 Mono Way Suite C, Sonora, CA 95370, with a pay range of $18-$22 per hour and eligibility for incentive compensation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and instructions.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and associates.

Responsibilities

• Performs teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Maintains branch operations and balancing duties.
• Mitigates risk by securing cash drawer and funds.
• Interacts with clients, identifies needs, and offers solutions.
• Deepens knowledge of Columbia Bank products and services.
• Discusses and uncovers customer financial needs to cross-sell products.
• Supports referral goals by directing business to partners.
