Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering in Lakewood, CO seeks a Program Manager to oversee a portfolio of substation, solar, wind, and storage projects through development, engineering, and construction support. You will serve as the Seller Doer, manage client relationships, and coordinate with Technical Directors to optimize profitability.

In this role, you’ll lead project status meetings, drive schedule updates, and guide onboarding of new projects while negotiating scope and terms with clients.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in project or program management.
• Extensive MasTec project experience; familiarity with electrical substations, transmission lines, PV, wind, and storage.
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CPM scheduling, and MS Project or Primavera P6 skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact between the client and NEI for multiple projects.
• Lead project status meetings and provide schedule updates and reports.
• Coordinate execution teams and assign resources with Technical Directors.
• Negotiate schedules, scope, and contract terms with client and leadership.
• Support business development and onboarding of new projects.
• Ensure proper documentation and streamline client processes.
