Job summary

Tailor is seeking a Forward-Deployed Product Manager to bridge client needs with internal product and engineering teams. You will extract requirements, manage communications, and support successful deployments led by the technical team.

This client-facing role emphasizes clarity, alignment, and speed, with frequent interaction across SaaS/ERP environments and a willingness to travel to Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Software company with client-facing work is preferred.
• Experience in SaaS, ERP, or composable software environments is desirable.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable product requirements.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Gather and clarify client requirements and translate them into prioritized engineering tasks.
• Own the client relationship during onboarding, scoping, and delivery.
• Provide context to engineers to ensure alignment between requests and shipped features.
• Develop repeatable templates, docs, and processes to streamline future deployments.
• Shape the product roadmap with data-driven insights and strategic themes.
