Job summary

ECP seeks a Data Analyst to build its Insights product for senior living communities. You will work in Databricks with SQL and Python/PySpark, developing reusable reporting that can scale across customers.

You will engage directly with customers, perform product discovery, and shape what we build rather than merely executing requests. Join a small team reporting to the VP of Data and influence product direction.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and ship analyses against large datasets using SQL and Python/PySpark.
• Experience presenting work to external customers.
• Experience working in version control on a shared codebase (GitHub).
• Ability to own work end to end from discovery to delivery.
• Familiarity with HIPAA data handling and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Own client-facing analyses and dashboards end to end, from initial customer conversation through delivery.
• Run discovery with customers, define needs, propose approach and build accordingly.
• Prioritize work across the reporting roadmap based on client input.
• Design for reuse: create standard reporting that serves all customers and client-specific work when shareable.
• Write SQL and Python/PySpark against large, multi-tenant datasets in Databricks; contribute dbt where appropriate.
• Explain coverage, limitations, and methodology to customers; ensure ship quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with product, data engineering, and customer-facing teams to turn recurring requests into product.
• Handle protected health information in line with HIPAA and security requirements.
