Job summary

Tenable, a leading exposure management company, is seeking a Data Analyst to turn operational and customer data into actionable reports and dashboards. You will partner with sales compensation and other teams, gather requirements, and build data assets using SQL and Databricks, including metadata to improve discoverability for AI tools.

You will validate report accuracy, monitor data quality, and maintain documentation of reporting logic, contributing to reliable data governance across the BI

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a business intelligence, reporting, or data analyst role.
• Hybrid schedule with commute to Columbia, MD three days a week, or to Boston, MA three days a week.
• Fundamental working proficiency in SQL, including select statements, joins, and filtering.
• Working proficiency with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar lakehouse.
• Experience building dashboards with Databricks dashboards, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate requirements into data assets.
• Detail-oriented with documentation of data objects and logic.

Responsibilities

• Turn operational and customer data into actionable reports and dashboards.
• Partner with internal business teams to gather reporting requirements and build data assets.
• Write SQL views and build dashboards directly within Databricks.
• Add structured descriptions and metadata to tables, views, and columns for discoverability and AI tools.
