Job summary

Medisolv is looking for a Forward Deployed BI Engineer to join our team, embedding with health plan and health system clients to design dashboards, reports, and analytics on top of our clinical quality and payer data.

You will work directly with client analysts and IT teams to translate needs into concrete BI deliverables, using SQL and a suite of BI tools, while aligning with product and data teams for scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a BI engineer in a client-facing role.
• Ability to translate vague requirements into concrete BI deliverables.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with healthcare data.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to gather and refine reporting requirements.
• Build dashboards, reports, and analytics views on clinical quality and payer data.
• Work with BI tooling as required by engagements.
• Write and optimize SQL queries behind deliverables.
• Collaborate with data modeling, data acquisition, and product teams.
• Translate recurring client requests into productized reporting.
• Present work to client stakeholders and manage feedback through sign-off.
• Leverage AI tooling to improve productivity and accelerate delivery.
