Job summary
Jobot Consulting is seeking a dynamic Consulting AV Technician to join our growing team. You will be the onsite point person for AV questions, supporting installs for enterprise clients and ensuring seamless integration with IT systems.
The role emphasizes IT/AV expertise, strong communication, and project management to lead AV projects from initial consultation through installation and post-install support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT/AV roles.
- Strong knowledge of AV configuration and integration.
- Excellent communication skills for non-technical staff and clients.
- Certifications in AV technologies or project management are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for AV equipment including video conferencing, projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and digital mixers.
- Regular maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment.
- Design and implement AV solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide consulting on selection, installation, and use of AV equipment.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure AV integration with IT infrastructure.
- Conduct training sessions for staff and clients.
- Stay up-to-date with latest AV technologies and trends.
- Manage all aspects of AV projects from consultation to post-installation support.
