Job summary

Fabric, a health-tech platform, seeks a Technical Solutions Engineer to be the technical authority for clients building on our API platform. You will design architectures, debug implementations, and ship small API enhancements.

You will own client relationships, support architecture design, and create SDKs and docs to simplify onboarding. This role blends consulting with hands-on coding and requires clear communication with both engineers and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical client-facing role with coding responsibility.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and API work.
• Fluency in RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, pagination, and debugging.
• Experience building developer resources like SDKs or API docs.
• Strong written and verbal communication translating tech to business terms.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with clients building on our API platform end to end.
• Support architecture design, API implementation, and testing with clients.
• Ship minor API enhancements and configure changes for high-value use cases.
• Build client-facing SDKs, code samples, and API docs for self-service onboarding.
• Collaborate with Solutions Design to translate requirements into integration plans.
• Debug client integration issues and triage fixes at API or config level.
• Communicate API feature changes and rollouts to client teams.
