Job summary

Hightouch is seeking a Forward Deployed Analytics Engineer to bridge customers' legacy reporting with our Agentic CDP. You will translate complex BI reports into clean SQL-driven solutions and architect semantic layers that power chat-based reporting.

In this customer-facing role, you'll audit data sources, validate metrics, and train marketers to use AI for brainstorming. You will collaborate with Solutions & Success to deliver reliable, idempotent reports.

Qualifications

• Deep SQL skills, clean, scalable queries.
• Experience with BI reports and marketing analytics.
• Ability to design semantic layers for reliable queries.
• Strong communication with customers to explain findings.

Responsibilities

• Strategic scoping and alignment for reporting needs.
• Audit and translate complex reports into reusable frameworks.
• Investigate data sources, identity resolution, and metrics.
• Train non-technical marketers on AI-assisted workflows.
• Explain analytical findings to help customers make decisions.
• Design, build and document a semantic context layer with idempotent reports.
