Job summary

Improvado, a leading AI-powered marketing data platform, is hiring a data systems engineer who will own 3–6 accounts end-to-end from discovery calls to production dashboards.

You’ll design data models with SQL and dbt, implement Python pipelines on Temporal, and ship dashboards in Looker/Power BI/Tableau for diverse clients. You’ll collaborate across marketing directors and data engineers to drive decisions and ensure reliable deliveries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping data work for external teams (agencies, consultancies, or in-house teams).
• SQL is your primary language; Python is a strong secondary.
• Experience with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor in production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Run weekly customer calls and translate feedback into scoped builds with timelines.
• Design and maintain data models using SQL/dbt on BigQuery, Snowflake, or ClickHouse.
• Write Python pipelines (Temporal) for edge cases: SFTP feeds, validation, joins, audits.
• Deliver dashboards in Looker, Power BI, or Tableau chosen by the customer.
• QA your delivery and report platform gaps with reproducible cases to Product.
