Job summary

Translucent AI is hiring a Forward Deployed Analytics Engineer in New York to bridge customers' financial and clinical data with our agentic AI platform. You will map raw data to a unified ontology, build durable transformations, and own data correctness from source to semantic layer.

You will engage directly with customers to capture business logic, reverse-engineer rules, and ensure the data pipeline meets client needs.

Qualifications

• Deep healthcare data domain experience with exposure to claims, EHR, or financial/revenue cycle data.
• Comfort reverse-engineering business logic from source systems.
• Strong SQL fluency; BigQuery SQL a plus.
• Experience with modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, BigQuery).
• Experience with transformation-as-code workflows (SQLMesh).
• Solid data modeling and pipeline instincts; CI/CD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements, workflows and business logic.
• Identify data to stand up a customer workspace and review source-of-truth models.
• Reverse-engineer and codify customer-specific rules; map data into unified ontology.
• Build and validate transformations in the managed data pipeline using SQL.
• Own testing and validation for every transformation shipped.
