Job summary

Stability AI seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to help creative teams and enterprises adopt generative AI across image, video, 3D, vector graphics, and design workflows. You will own problems from scoping to production deployment, blending software engineering with hands-on generative AI and visual computing.

You will translate ambiguous customer needs into prototypes and reliable production systems, partnering with research, product, and customer teams to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD or equivalent practical experience in CS, ML, graphics, or vision.
• Hands-on generative AI, multimodal systems, CV, or creative tech.
• Strong Python skills; experience with PyTorch.
• Track record turning prototypes into production systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to map workflows and goals before proposing technical approaches.
• Identify high-value opportunities to apply generative AI across image, video, 3D, vector graphics, and design domains.
• Build prototypes, integrations, and production‑ready solutions delivering measurable customer value.
• Adapt generative and multimodal models to customer datasets, brand requirements, and production environments.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing creative tools and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with research, product, engineering, and design to translate customer needs into technical requirements.
