Job summary

Talkdesk, Inc. is hiring a Forward Deployed AI Product Manager to bridge client needs and engineering delivering AI-powered solutions in retail, hospitality, and ecommerce.

You will embed with clients, translate workflows into product requirements, and collaborate with Solution Engineers and ML teams. In this role you’ll own discovery, design, and deployment from pilot to go-live, drive success metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and influence the product roadmap with field insights and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in retail, e-commerce, or hospitality with hands-on ops exposure.
• Client-facing delivery experience—implementation, solutions, or CS.
• Ability to map complex guest and shopper journeys into structured requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication to execs (VP/C-suite).
• Familiarity with TCPA, PCI DSS, CCPA/GDPR and brand compliance guidelines.
• Willingness to travel 25–35% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients as trusted advisor; conduct discovery, interviews, journey mapping.
• Translate client workflows into AI-powered product/configuration requirements.
• Own end-to-end deployments from pilot to go-live; manage timelines and changes.
• Define KPIs with clients; monitor value delivery and ROI narratives.
• Collaborate with Solution Engineers, ML teams, and CXMs for post-launch observability.
• Ensure compliance, security, and data privacy requirements are met.
