Job summary

Forgepoint is seeking a hands-on, client-facing technical role at the intersection of customers, product, and applied AI. You will own deployments end-to-end with American manufacturers, turning messy requirements into clear agent behaviors and measuring ROI.

The work is fast-moving, in-person five days a week in NYC, with travel to customer sites across the US. You will write SOPs, prompts, evals, and guardrails, collaborating with product and engineering to improve tools and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software engineering or client-facing technical role.
• Strong coding, prompting LLMs, and evals.
• Able to scope ambiguous requirements and design simple solutions.
• Exceptional communication and workshop facilitation.
• Organized, process-oriented, multi-deployment management.
• Quickly learn complex domains and translate field insights into tools.
• Ambitious, resourceful, team-first; willing to work in NYC five days/week.

Responsibilities

• Lead agent deployments from discovery through go-live and ROI measurement.
• Map customer workflows into requirements, SOPs, prompts, tools, guardrails, handoffs.
• Build evals and test cases to measure quality and guide iteration.
• Configure and launch agents, monitor performance, and improve reliability.
• Run customer workshops, discuss tradeoffs, and manage dependencies.
• Turn field insights into product improvements and reusable patterns.
• Learn domains quickly and advocate for customer needs with product/engineering.
