Job summary

Forgepoint Technologies, Inc. is seeking an engineer to design and build the agent layer for AI workers, focusing on reliability across messy inputs from manufacturing contexts.

You will prototype rapidly, measure quality with eval harnesses, and tighten the loop between agent actions and customer needs, using a TypeScript stack (React + NodeJS) with PostgreSQL. In-person NYC five days a week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience with real LLM/agent work.
• Fluent with LLM APIs, prompting, tool-use, and evals to improve quality.
• Experience building and operating agentic systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agent behaviors, prompt and tool-use pipelines.
• Create eval harnesses to measure quality and reliability.
• Implement guardrails to handle messy inputs in production.
• Integrate and deploy numerous third-party APIs.
