Job summary

Truist in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a client-focused teller/relationship associate. You will deliver a superior client experience, guiding customers through complex and routine transactions while uncovering needs and promoting digital banking tools.

The role involves outbound client outreach, collaboration with branch teams, and ongoing training to grow product knowledge and service capabilities in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, facilitating courteous conversation, and conducting transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking to enhance service.
• Support team sales process by outreach through outbound calls and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
