Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a Client Engagement Specialist in San Francisco to lead marketing programs for clients and prospects, acting as the events and sponsorships lead. The role collaborates with BD and marketing to drive regional initiatives and client relationship growth across the firm.

The position requires five years of marketing/digital skills and two years of events leadership in professional services, with strong writing and CRM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum five (5) years of professional marketing, business development, or related experience.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience planning and leading events in a professional services environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, leads, and executes Firm-sponsored programs for clients.
• Serves as the marketing lead for events and sponsorships.
• Creates event plans and manages critical dates and timelines.
• Drafts and manages internal and external communications for the program.
• Collaborates on event logistics, guest lists, speaker prep, materials, and site management.
• Supports client entertainment activities and ticket assets management.
• Coordinates production and distribution of legal updates and readership reports.
• Helps manage the office marketing budget and analyzes ROI.
• Maintains engagement with the Firm’s CRM to connect lawyers, clients, and contacts.
• Identifies credentialing opportunities for lawyers and creates supporting materials.
