Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a Client Engagement Specialist to plan and manage marketing activities for the San Francisco office. The role focuses on elevating the firm's profile, connecting lawyers with clients, and supporting business development across practices in the region.

The role requires collaboration across the Marketing Department, other admin groups, and lawyers, with emphasis on events, sponsorships, and digital communications.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• A minimum of five (5) years of professional marketing, business development, or other relevant experience.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience planning and leading events in a professional services environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, leads, and executes firm-sponsored programs for current and prospective clients.
• Serves as the marketing lead for events and sponsorships and manages timelines.
• Coordinates client entertainment and manages ticket assets and allocations.
• Prepares and distributes legal updates and readership reports.
• Helps manage the office marketing budget and analyzes ROI of initiatives.
• Maintains engagement with the Firm’s CRM system to connect lawyers, clients, and contacts.
• Identifies speaking and credentialing opportunities for lawyers and prepares supporting materials.
• Assists in onboarding new lawyers and lateral partners, and in lawyer workshops.
