Job summary

Aumnitech LLC is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join client-embedded projects and ship production code against real systems. You will work directly with customer environments and data to deliver robust software in real-time settings.

In this senior role, you’ll turn evolving requirements into working software fast, build custom integrations and AI features, and serve as the technical face of the engagement. Travel or on-site work may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production engineering experience shipping code to customer environments.
• Strong full-stack or backend development skills capable of producing production-grade code under time pressure.
• Fluency with LLMs, RAG, and agentic systems and how to adapt them to customer constraints.
• Comfort with ambiguous requirements and defensible decision-making without long approvals.
• Willingness to travel or work on-site as required.

Responsibilities

• Embed with a client team to ship production code against real systems.
• Turn evolving client requirements into working software quickly without a formal spec.
• Build and iterate on custom integrations and AI features in a client environment.
• Serve as the technical face of the engagement and guide real-time architecture choices.
• Own handoff from pilot to production, including documentation and knowledge transfer.
