Job summary

Premier Veterinary Group Mundelein is seeking a Client Care Representative for Emergency and Critical Care. Based in Mundelein, IL, this full-time role operates 4pm–1am on nine-hour shifts, with weekends and some holidays required to support our urgent pet care team.

You will welcome clients, review medical records, educate on services, process appointments and payments, and help maintain records with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary client services preferred.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Comfort with Windows-based programs.
• Fluent English (speaking and reading) required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome our clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner
• Prepare and review documents and medical records accurately and completely
• Educate and advise clients regarding services and practices
• Process appointments, emergencies, and client requests while ensuring the highest quality of care and satisfaction for our clients at all times
• Process invoices and payments accurately
• Update and maintain client/pet records and files in accordance with hospital legal requirements
• Assist with other administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, emailing, for example
• Support team to reach common goals
• Ability to recognize and seek guidance in all client-related cases where protocol does not apply

Client Care Representative, Emergency and Critical Care

Location: Mundelein, IL

Schedule: Full-Time | 4pm-1am | Nine Hour Shifts Per Week | Weekends Required | Some Holiday Coverage Will Be Required

Compensation: $16/hr + Depending On Experience | $5 Weekend Shift Differential

In Your Day-To-Day, You Will

What You Bring

• Prior veterinary experience is strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
• Have a fundamental knowledge of windows based computer programs
• Proven effective communication and the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Willing and able to provide exceptional customer service
• A motivated and dedicated individual who is self- motivated to provide exceptional service
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
