Job summary

Premier Veterinary Group Orland Park is seeking a Client Care Specialist for Emergency & Critical Care. You will warmly welcome clients and their pets, manage check-ins and discharges, and coordinate urgent appointments with a highly collaborative team in a 24/7 ER setting.

In this role you’ll maintain patient records, assist with admissions and payments, and educate clients on procedures and services while delivering compassionate, professional service.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows-based computer programs.
• Proven effective communication and ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Willing and able to provide exceptional customer service.
• A motivated and dedicated individual who is self-motivated to provide exceptional service.
• Fluent English (speaking & reading) required; multilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming experience for clients and their pets from check-in through discharge.
• Coordinate appointments, emergency visits, and client requests with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate medical records and hospital documentation.
• Guide clients through admissions, discharges, follow-up scheduling, and payment processing.
• Educate clients on hospital services, procedures, and next steps.
• Maintain organized client and patient records and support daily administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure a seamless client experience.

Schedule: Full Time | 2nd shift | 4pm-1m | Includes 1-2 weekend shifts per week

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will

• Maintain organized client and patient records while supporting the daily administrative operations of the hospital, including scanning, emailing, and other office tasks.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and the client care team to keep the hospital running efficiently and ensure a seamless experience for every patient and client.
