Job summary

RIMOWA, part of the LVMH Group, seeks a Client Care Inventory Control Specialist in our Long Island City workshop. You will oversee end-to-end inventory management, optimize stock for repair spare parts, and coordinate shipments to workshops, stores, and clients.

This role reports to the Client Care Assistant Manager AMERICAS. Key duties include inventory counts, shipment tracking, and collaboration with Workshop, Retail, and Client Services teams to communicate lead times and stock

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of inventory management, supply chain, or operations experience in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and process adherence.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and communicate effectively in a dynamic setting.

Job description

Client Care Inventory Control Specialist

The Client Care Inventory Control Specialist oversees end-to-end inventory management, stock optimization, and shipment operations with a focus on repair spare parts, ensuring seamless logistics, communication, and alignment across workshops, stores, and clients.

This role reports to the Client Care Assistant Manager AMERICAS and is based in our Long Island City, New York workshop.

Job responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Oversee spare parts inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability, organization, usage, and flow.
  • Execute weekly cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Order and maintain workshop supplies and tools.

Shipping & Logistics

  • Manage all inbound and outbound shipments for spare parts in a timely manner, verifying invoices and shipment contents.
  • Pick, pack, and process spare parts orders for internal workshops, stores, and clients.
  • Liaise directly with shipping providers and carriers to track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and optimize logistics.

Workshop Operations Coordination

  • Partner closely with Workshop, Retail, and Client Services teams to communicate spare parts availability and projected lead times.
  • Provide weekly inventory and inbound/outbound shipment status updates.
  • Support general workshop administration and team operations.

Repair Process Support

  • Assist with repair intake administration and quote/invoice generation in the Repair Management System (RMS).
  • Support product Inspection to determine repair requirements.
  • Manage client quotation approval and payment process.

Profile
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or operations in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, and process adherence.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic setting; strong professional communication skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with a resourceful, practical, and agile problem-solving mindset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
