Job summary

Heartland Veterinary Partners LLC is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to deliver an exceptional client experience in a busy veterinary clinic. Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will handle front desk duties, appointments, record maintenance, and cash processing while welcoming clients and patients.

The role requires weekend availability with 20-25 hours per week. Benefits include paid time off and health/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Customer satisfaction references preferred.
• OSHA safety practices including PPE.

Responsibilities

• Leads opening and closing procedures as directed.
• Keeps public areas clean and presentable (front desk, waiting area, exam rooms).
• Processes cash, checks, card payments and credit accounts.
• Schedules appointments adhering to Doctor preferences and workflow.
• Updates client/patient files as needed.
• Prepares and sends client correspondence.
• Sends reminder notices and makes recalls from a call-back list.
• Performs backups of the computer system as directed.
• Posts daily business transactions.
• Welcomes clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor and ensures a positive visit.
• Answers incoming telephone calls with proper etiquette.
• Presents medications, instructions, new client kits and take-home items.
• Handles emergencies following clinic policies and procedures.
• Addresses client concerns to ensure satisfaction.
