Oliver James Group, a global law firm, seeks a Client Billing Compliance Analyst for its New York office. The role reviews Outside Counsel Guidelines and time/cost entries to ensure billing compliance and smooth processes, serving as a liaison among clients and partners to promote efficiency.

The successful candidate will monitor billing inventories, identify issues, and help resolve them while coordinating with internal staff and client-designated personnel to support billing operations.

Responsabilidades

• Review time and cost entries to ensure narratives comply with client billing guidelines and expenses meet allowable requirements.
• Review Outside Counsel Guidelines and prepare concise summaries for all timekeepers assigned to each client.
• Identify potential compliance issues and help resolve them before they affect the billing process.
• Monitor billing inventory regularly, including short-pays and appeals, to meet deadlines and reduce the billing and collections cycle.
• Serve as a liaison among clients, partners, and assistants to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop, customize, and coordinate best-practice procedures for an efficient billing process.
• Coordinate efforts among internal staff and client-designated personnel to support billing operations.
• Assist with budgets and accruals, and analyze client billing and collections trends.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and analyses as requested.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Client Billing Compliance Analyst for its New York, Dallas, Newport Beach, or Los Angeles office. This position reviews clients' Outside Counsel Guidelines, as well as time and cost entries, to ensure compliance with client billing requirements and expectations. The role also serves as a liaison among clients and partners to promote an efficient, seamless billing process.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of law firm e-billing, appeals, or collections experience, with a strong understanding of legal industry best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels, work accurately, and perform well under pressure
• Strong organizational, strategic thinking, multitasking, and prioritization abilities
• Strong sense of ownership, proactive communication, and exceptional follow-through
• Customer service mindset, high motivation, and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
• Experience with a variety of e-billing platforms and the eBilling Hub is preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including evenings and weekends
