Job summary

Truist is seeking a motivated Universal Banker to provide exceptional client service in a retail banking setting. You will handle transactions, educate clients on digital banking options, and support outbound outreach while identifying client needs for referral to specialists.

Ideal candidates have strong interpersonal skills, 2+ years in teller or client service roles, and the ability to multitask and work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for staffing as needed.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience, handling transactions and uncovering client needs.
• Educate clients on digital self-service banking to enhance their experience.
• Support sales by outbound outreach and referring clients to branch staff.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Advance product knowledge to better serve consumers and business clients.
• Adhere to internal controls and policies to ensure compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
