Job summary

Truist is hiring a Regular Teller in Georgia to provide timely, accurate client service and handle a mix of complex and standard transactions. You will educate clients on digital banking options and support outbound outreach to uncover needs. You’ll work to ensure compliance with internal controls while fostering a positive client experience.

The role emphasizes relationship building, cross-selling opportunities, and teamwork within a dynamic retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and handling complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound outreach, checking offers, and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and training.
• Adhere to controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution.
