Job summary

Truist Bank is seeking a part-time Universal Banker to provide timely client service and accurate handling of transactions in the United States. The role includes educating clients on digital banking, supporting sales with outbound calls, and leveraging IRM to deliver Truist solutions.

The position emphasizes reliable, friendly service, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility for weekends or extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, conducting complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to ensure we seamlessly deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Commit to advancing product knowledge by attending sales, service and product knowledge meetings and trainings.
• Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
