Job summary

Truist Financial in Cumming, GA is seeking a Regular teller to provide timely client transactions, maintain accurate records, and deliver a superior client experience. The role includes cross-training to assist with sales and outbound calling, plus contributions to Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Essential duties cover handling complex and standard transactions, educating clients on digital channels, and supporting branch team initiatives while adhering to internal controls

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversations and complex/standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound client outreach and referrals to branch teams.
• Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and sales/product knowledge training.
• Maintain internal controls and comply with policies and procedures.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, assisting clients and prospects.
