Job summary

NRI North America is seeking a Client Advocate Manager to partner with Account Managers in driving Sales and pipeline growth across North America. You will manage day-to-day product sales, prospect with strategic intent, and participate in co-selling with top-tier partners.

The role requires experience prospecting and selling to C-Suite and directors, strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to map accounts while supporting field AE teams, often remotely but with on-site

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of technical sales experience.
  • Proven record of prospecting and selling.
  • Experience interfacing with C-Suite/director level personnel.
  • Experience selling services and solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the organization's industry, products, or services.
  • Proven experience managing teams or leading cross-functional client initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Day to Day product sales.
  • Communicate with clients regarding product lead times.
  • Help set client & prospect meetings with Account Team.
  • Influence a given $ amount of pipeline monthly.
  • Attend territory networking events.
  • Provide Discover.org customer market research to AE's.
  • Account map with top tier one partners.
  • Host networking events & drive attendance.
  • Create opportunities in SFDC when AE is in the field.
  • Submit deal registrations.
  • Follow up on open opportunities.
  • Participate in company sales campaigns and SPIFs.
  • Attend joint sales meeting with assigned AMs.
  • Meet with assigned AEs for customer sales planning.
  • Attend sales training by tier one partners & NRI's SAs.
  • Assist with post sales order process of product and services.
  • Other duties as assigned and directed.

Job description

A Client Advocate Manager (CAM) shares the same responsibility as an Account Manager; they work as a team to exceed their sales goals. The CAM works closely with its Account Managers to identify Top Strategic Accounts and Top Prospect accounts growing the business by identifying new opportunities and co-selling. CAMs primarily work remotely assisting their Account Managers that are mostly on the road working together to strategically and efficiently cater to their customer base with ongoing opportunities and follow-ups as needed. It is also the responsibility of CAM to do in-depth research on prospect accounts and have a good understanding of the key industries their team is actively working with and targeting as prospects. Although CAMs generally work remotely, they also share responsibility for attending strategic on-site customer meetings, account mapping sessions with top-tier partners, and partner + customer territory events.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 5 years technical experience
  • Proven record of prospecting and selling (you're a hunter AND a farmer)
  • Prior experience selling services and solutions.
  • Prior experience interfacing with the C-Suite and/or Director level personnel
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with the organization's industry, products, or services.
  • Proven experience managing teams or leading cross-functional client initiatives.

In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for commissions based the amount of Gross Profit generated from the sales. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each candidate, including experience and location.
