Job summary

NRI North America is seeking an Account Executive to join our Sales Team in Atlanta. You will identify new business opportunities, profile accounts, and close deals with enterprise customers, while building strong relationships with Microsoft teams.

The ideal candidate is analytical, data-centric, and energetic, with experience in Microsoft solutions and CRM tools. You will collaborate with Sales Engineers, Deployment, and Project Managers to drive revenue and growth.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or account management.
  • Experience selling Microsoft services and platform offerings.
  • Proficient with Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

NRI North America is looking for an Account Executive to join our Sales Team. This position will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding NRI’s market presence. As part of the sales process, they will identify key decision‑makers, profile accounts, assess revenue potential, and close deals. Successful candidates will need to be analytical and data‑centric, with occasional outbound efforts to our partner network. The ideal candidate should enjoy reaching out to prospects via email and phone. They should be a self‑starter, energetic, entrepreneurial, creative, and have a strong desire to succeed.

Essential Duties
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft account teams
  • Partner with Microsoft as a peer during the sales process for major accounts
  • Identify leads and close sales with enterprise accounts
  • Understand and demonstrate a technical understanding of Microsoft platform offerings
  • Qualify sales opportunities, set proper customer expectations, and handle negotiations
  • Direct the sales process involving other NRI resources, such as Sales Engineers, Deployment, and Project Managers
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders
  • Source opportunities. Close sales. Attain sales goals
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, and expand NRI’s footprint within existing accounts
  • Communicate directly with customers, recommend high‑level solutions based on customer needs, and develop rapport and gather the information that will allow us to improve our relations and close business
  • Serve as the liaison between strategic manufacture partners and NRI
  • Participate in sales meetings and training to improve performance, enhance skills, and help build departmental expertise
  • Set meetings with clients to understand business requirements
  • Give technical demonstrations of various products and services to prospective customers
Required Skills
  • Previous Microsoft sales experience preferred and knowledge around Office 365, EMS, Azure, etc
  • Previous experience positioning and closing professional services opportunities
  • Previous experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a sales or account management role (5 years)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently
Desired Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Closed at least 5 seven‑figure contracts with new accounts
  • Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to negotiate contracts, deliverables, and price
  • Previous experience using a customer relationship management software
  • Experience in having high‑level conversations with C‑level executives
  • Understanding of cloud computing and the business benefits that it provides
  • The ability to present complex technology in a way non‑technical people can understand
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Experience with information technology and services preferred
