Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5–8+ years of experience in accounting with exposure to M&A/post-close integration or transaction advisory.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606.
• Experience leading accounting software implementations preferred (NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Xero, Ramp, Bill.com).
• Proven experience managing multiple engagements and delivering high-quality work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end post-close accounting processes for privately held clients after mergers and acquisitions.
• Oversee opening balance sheet adjustments and documentation in GAAP.
• Manage NWC true-up calculations, analyses, and negotiations with buyers/sellers.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on revenue recognition, leases, inventory, and equity arrangements.
• Lead or support ERP/software implementations and design workflows.
• Serve as primary client contact, translate complex issues into actionable recommendations.
• Mentor staff and ensure accuracy of deliverables and financial statements.
