Job summary

Associa in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a Client Account Specialist (CAS) to join our centralized accounting services team. The CAS supports clients by processing checks, preparing monthly financial statements, and assisting CAMs and Boards in understanding the statements.

You will manage AR/AP tasks, bank reconciliations, and onboarding of new clients with accuracy and timeliness. Strong GAAP knowledge and MS Office skills are required, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and Microsoft Office.
• Experienced in general ledger accounting.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with in-office tasks such as processing checks, sorting, coding, and filling AR income forms.
• Review and approve monthly financial statements for various clients (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Monthly Trends, Delinquencies, Prepaid accounts, Bank reconciliations, General Ledger).
• Answer questions from CAMs and Board Members regarding monthly financial statements.
• Manage transition of new clients, including setting up/closing bank accounts and updating signature cards.
