The Client Advisory Service (CAS) Senior plays a key role in delivering exceptional
accounting, advisory, and financial consulting services to clients. This individual will
manage client relationships, oversee financial processes, and provide strategic insights
to help clients achieve their financial goals. The role requires a blend of technical
expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to client service.
Responsibilities:
Client Advisory Services:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong, trusted relationships.
- Provide financial and operational insights through the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Develop and present tailored financial strategies to meet clients’ short and long-term business objectives.
- Assist clients in implementing and optimizing accounting systems and financial processes.
Accounting and Financial Management:
- Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or other relevant standards.
- Manage and oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and reconciliations for clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines (e.g., tax filings, financial audits).
- Work closely with the Client Advisory team and other departments to ensure a seamless service experience for clients.
- Mentor and provide guidance to staff accountants, assisting with complex client needs and skill development.
- Participate in business development efforts, including onboarding new clients and identifying additional service opportunities for existing clients.
Technology and Tools:
- Leverage cloud-based accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks) to manage client accounts.
- Stay updated on emerging accounting technologies and recommend tools that add value to clients.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA designation preferred or actively pursuing.
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or a client advisory services role.
- Strong technical accounting skills, including proficiency in GAAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
