Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. Our customers include leading public cloud and silicon providers, and industry leaders across sectors. The company is founder-led, profitable, and growing. We are hiring a Business Services Team Manager to oversee travel, logistics, events, scheduling, expense policies, and administration.

This executive role requires excellent coordination, planning, decision-making, budgeting, procurement, reporting, and management skills. It involves managing complex operations in the tech industry, including large-scale company events involving travel for hundreds of employees from over 80 countries, held four times a year. The team handles travel procurement, logistics, visas, and safety, requiring a rigorous approach and high work ethic.

The team also reviews expense claims for fairness and consistency, requiring integrity, transparency, and accountability. Additionally, they provide traditional 'EA' services for company leaders, such as scheduling meetings, coordinating reports, approvals, and small projects.

Location: Worldwide, remote, except where offices are located (e.g., London, Taipei, Beijing).

Leadership and Responsibilities
  • Travel approvals, logistics, and operations

  • Planning and execution of large-scale company events
  • Management of company offices for executive briefings and operations
  • Implementation of global duty of care, health, and safety programs
Candidate Requirements
  • Exceptional academic record from high school and university
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field
  • Drive and a history of exceeding expectations
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Good judgment in financial, policy, and interpersonal matters
  • Ability to operate in a multicultural, global organization

  • Willingness to travel up to four times a year, with events lasting up to two weeks
