ABIP is a full‑service public accounting firm serving closely held and middle‑market businesses. As a Client Accountant, you will oversee outsourced accounting for multiple clients, serving as a strategic advisor and leading engagement teams.

You will interpret financial results, implement process improvements, and leverage technology to help clients operate more effectively. CPA certification is required for Manager roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or client management.
• CPA license required for Manager or Senior Manager positions.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.
• Proficiency with cloud-based accounting systems and integrated financial apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of CAS clients, overseeing outsourced accounting and financial reporting engagements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Review financial statements and KPIs, providing actionable client insights.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and proactive communication.
• Advise on accounting process improvements, system implementations, and internal controls.
• Oversee, mentor, and review work of seniors, staff, and offshore team members.
• Coordinate with tax, assurance, and advisory teams to deliver cohesive service.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

6+ years of progressive accounting experience

CPA license (required for Manager/Senior Manager)

Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting

Proficiency in cloud-based accounting systems
