Qualifications

• Proficiency with cloud-based accounting systems and integrated financial apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of CAS clients, overseeing outsourced accounting and financial reporting engagements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Review financial statements and KPIs, providing actionable client insights.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and proactive communication.
• Advise on accounting process improvements, system implementations, and internal controls.
• Oversee, mentor, and review work of seniors, staff, and offshore team members.

Education

As a Client Accountant, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality outsourced accounting services for multiple clients, managing both client relationships and engagement teams. You will serve as a strategic advisor—interpreting financial results, implementing process improvements, and leveraging technology to help clients operate more effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of CAS clients, overseeing all aspects of outsourced accounting and financial reporting engagements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP or other applicable frameworks.
• Review and analyze financial statements, management reports, and KPIs, providing actionable insights to clients.
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and delivering responsive, proactive communication.
• Advise clients on accounting process improvements, system implementations, and internal control enhancements.
• Oversee, mentor, and review work prepared by seniors, staff accountants, and offshore team members.
• Coordinate with tax, assurance, and advisory teams to ensure cohesive client service and timely deliverables.
• Stay current on emerging accounting technologies, helping clients adopt efficient cloud-based platforms and automation tools (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Bill.com).
• Support business development by identifying client needs, preparing proposals, and participating in firm growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1 years in a supervisory or client management role.
• Prior public accounting experience required, outsourced client accounting or controllership experience highly valued.
• CPA license required for Manager or Senior Manager positions.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.
• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting systems and integrated financial applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and advisory skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and multiple client engagements simultaneously.
