Job summary

Alta Resources is seeking an Account Services Rep in Brea, CA to serve as a key liaison between client sales, customers, and internal teams. You will help process orders, monitor shipment status, and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate promotions, manage order data in the Order Management System, and build strong relationships across departments to support smooth operations and accurate communication with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HSED) required. Post high school education is preferred.
• Previous work experience in customer service, sales, training, member retention or relevant work experience is required. Industry experience or any other service related industry experience is highly desired.
• Ability to quickly learn complex program and product knowledge, work on a PC, accessing and navigating multiple software applications in a Windows environment while talking to the customer on the phone via a headset at the same time. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is desired.

Responsibilities

• Take and maintain a proactive approach on all orders to meet the customer's and client's needs. Review order activity and take necessary actions to ensure shipments are complete and on time.
• Coordinate, plan, and maintain orders on promotions, resets, ads and new releases for customers and ensure all internal teams are aware of requirements and changes.
• Analyze inventory timing and dispatch requirements to ensure 100% on-time delivery and communicate shortfalls immediately.
• Investigate shipment discrepancy inquiries and resolve billing errors and shipment discrepancies via return authorizations.
• Serve as liaison with Sales, Credit Department and Distribution Planning to resolve issues and coordinate scheduling and product handling.
• Maintain high level of customer satisfaction through proactive account management.
