Lexitas is seeking a client-focused Account Manager at our Houston office to manage assigned client accounts, provide updates, and communicate with attorneys and legal teams. This on-site role requires strong attention to detail and timely response skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle sensitive medical records, ensure HIPAA and legal standards compliance, and collaborate with legal and medical offices to deliver accurate information while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of customer service experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based platforms.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
• Provide bi-weekly status updates and proactive outreach on open cases.
• Respond to client inquiries within the same business day, resolving issues promptly and accurately.
• Verify and process medical records in compliance with HIPAA and all legal standards.
• Collaborate with legal and medical offices to gather and communicate essential case information.
• Troubleshoot client concerns and document outcomes to ensure first-contact resolution.
• Safeguard confidential client information and elevate critical feedback to leadership.
• Support internal staff with accurate, up-to-date record management.
