The position requires a high school diploma, experience in medical offices and insurance processes, and preferred bilingual skills in Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred in health or social services.
• One year of medical office/administrative support; one year in medical insurance, authorizations and referrals.
• Medical background (CNA/MA) preferred but not required.
• Experience with electronic health records and HIPAA compliance.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred; strong written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers patients for medical care in the clinical setting.
• Verifies patient demographics and insurance information; checks eligibility and benefits.
• Works with insurance plans to promote intakes and ensure smooth scheduling.
• Provides front-desk coverage and supports outreach, engagement and patient communications.
