Job description

Position Summary:

Penske Logistics is looking for a Warehouse Clerk Team Lead to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. Responsible for maintaining the workflow of several lift drivers and yard spotter.

Shift: Monday- Friday 2:00pm- 10:30pm

Pay: $21.21/HR with $1.00 shift differential

Major Responsibilities:

1. Various office and administrative duties, which may include filling out paperwork and maintaining a digital log.
2. Maintain cleanliness and organization of Shipping and Receiving Office.
3. Daily interaction with Lift Drivers.
4. Involve Safety team as required by location.
5. Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
7. Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. 4 years of warehouse experience required.
2. 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
3. 2 years of general office experience required.
4. 1 year of customer service experience required.
5. High School diploma or equivalent required.
6. Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Sheet required.
7. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
8. Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
9. Ability to work as part of a team.
10. Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
11. Ability to handle busy and stressful situations appropriately.
12. Open to receiving feedback both positive and constructive.
