Job Description

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who aspire to inspire and empower employees to deliver exceptional quality and service. You will supervise and coordinate daily production activities on a shift, ensuring safety, quality, production, shipping & receiving, and maintenance. Your responsibilities include:

• Inspecting products for conformance and adjusting machines as needed.
• Studying production schedules and estimating worker hours.
• Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet schedules.
• Recommending improvements to production methods and equipment performance.
• Suggesting changes to increase efficiency.
• Analyzing and resolving work issues, coaching employees.
• Maintaining records of time and production.
• Coordinating with other management departments.
• Documenting incidents and accidents.
• Improving production goals and KPIs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years in a plant environment.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
• Process control experience is advantageous.
• Steel, slitting, coil coating, or related steel experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Leadership skills to train and motivate staff.
• Flexibility to work long and irregular hours, including afternoons or nights.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
