Job Responsibilities:

• Wait on customers in a prompt, courteous, accurate, and efficient manner, using suggestive selling techniques and maintaining high-quality customer relations.
• Prepare, handle, stock, and store all department products.
• Rotate all department products on a first-in, first-out basis.
• Ensure all products are stored in proper refrigeration.
• Stock products within the guidelines established by the department manager.
• Follow the regular cleaning schedule for equipment and display cases.
• Operate equipment such as scales and slicers confidently.
• Understand weights and measures standards and the proper use of containers and packaging materials.

Minor Duties:

• Perform price changes as requested.
• Operate stock dollies, mixing machines, slicers, ovens, scales, fryers, pricing equipment, and use knives and case cutters.
• Provide verbal and physical assistance to customers.
• Follow recipes and keep company recipes confidential.
• Perform freshness checks and recondition products as needed.
• Operate hydraulic balers.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, and cleaning functions.
• Operate telephones and intercoms, practicing proper telephone etiquette.
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Reach and stock products up to 6 feet high.
